Cancel enrollment to college?

Is canceling my enrollment at DeVry difficult?

• So because I misread some things on the EDD website (for unemployment) I enrolled at DeVry. Signed the $50.00 application and signed loan and financial aid papers. The semester hasn't started (its starts 01/03/10 though) and I now want to cancel my enrollment and go to school at a community college. Do I have a good shot and being able to cancel everything without monetary issues coming up?

You might also contact the people on the other end of the loan and financial aid papers outside DeVry and tell them that you want to cancel them. You need to get written verification of the cancellation immediately. ' If you do not get anywhere after 2 days of trying, see an attorney immediately. The attorney should be able to tell you if s/he can help you after a half-hour consultation. Bring your copies of all the papers to the consultation. It is worth paying an attorney a thousand dollars, for example, to get out of many thousands of dollars of loan agreements.
