Should I be a teacher or physician assistant?

Im 23, am I too late to return to college and pursue my goals? ?

  • I'm 23 male with two young kids. I wanna pursue college but I'm afraid I'm too late. I would to major in one of these areas. Geographer, biology, lawyer, physician assistant, teacher, or counselor. All these majors take a long time to achieve. Should I say heck with it and chase my dream? Which major would be fastest? Thank you all!

  • Answer:

Return to college and become a teacher if you enjoy being a dad. I was a stay-at-home mom and graduated from college at 36. It's never too late to pursue your goals, and that's one lesson your children need to learn. As a male teacher, you'll always have a job because everyone knows there are far too many fatherless children (students) who need a strong role model.

Hell no. You're 23. Chase your dream, don't let yourself be limited by what you think is your age. That's nonsense. I had a lab partner in physics a year back, he had to be at least 30. There have been a couple of guys who were like 60 in my classes before. No biggie. Go for it.

Never too late! At my university we have 50 year olds.. and a couple of 80 year old women (one is doing it as something to do since she's now retired). /

Depends. If you just wants a cheap and cheerful degree for "personal enrichment" purposes, it's never too late. If you want to compete for difficult Majors such as Engineering, or you want to be a legitimate candidate for professional schools such as Law or PA, it may already be too late unless you've retained excellent study skills and superior aptitude from High School. These study skills deteriorate quickly...

It would seem to me that whether you have the finances to "return to college and pursue (your) goals" and take care of your two young kids would be a more important factor than your age.

As a high school principal it was my pleasure to award diplomas to many who were old enough to be your grandparent It is never to young or to old to learn and to advance yourself./

You're never too old to go to college. I thinks its a good idea to go and get your degree. As far as your major you should pick something you love to do. Good luck and I hope this helped
