How to get into an American University for international students?

• So I lived in America for about 12 years, and I moved to Korea when I was 14. I am now 16, and in the first year (out of 3 years) at a Korean high school. How would a kid like me get into an American college after graduation? I'm not looking to attend Stanford or Harvard because that is pretty much impossible for me at this point, but I am looking to try to attend a decent college (UC Berkley, UCLA, etc...). I know that I have to take the SAT's, so I am currently preparing for that. What else would I have to do for a western college to take notice of me? Are there any specific clubs or classes that they want me to take? I am sorry for writing so much, but I REALLY want to attend college in America, and NOT in Korea. Please help an asian brother out, lol TL;DR: What does an international student have to do that is DIFFERENT from what an American student would have to do to get into an American college?

  It is harder to get into some US colleges because some do not take that many international students. However, The fact that your English is good will help because you will need to take an English test such as the TOEFL. Also, as an international student you will have to be able to prove that you have enough money in the bank to pay for your first year of schooling which is an absolute minimum of $30,000. This proof is required to get a student visa. By the way, it is extremely difficult to get into Berkeley and UCLA as they are very popular and get thousands of applicants which means that they can require very high academics and activities.
