Do colleges look at your GPA or UGP? HELP!?

  • ok so i'm a senior in high school. i got my transcripts the other day, it only shows freshman year through junior year. anyways, it says (for anyone who's good at math!): freshman year GPA: 3.438 soph. year GPA: 3.398 junior year GPA: 3.063 ok so under "GPA summary" is says my "4.0 GPA" is 2.848, & my "SC UGP GPA" (south carolina uniform grading policy gpa) is 3.293. which one will colleges look at? HELP!!

  • Answer:

Colleges are going to want your unweighted cumulative GPA. on a 4.0 scale Be aware that colleges are making their decision for acceptance based on your first three years of high school only. Once accepted it will be on contingency of your senior grades, which will be sent after you graduate.
