How to write a medical appeal letter?

How do I write an appeal letter for a University I didn't get into?

• If you were to transfer your Associates degree they would like your gpa to be a 2.35. Now I got exactly a 2.35 however they do look through the classes to see if there are any problems with them being transferred on their own. I had a hiccup when they saw that two of my math classes aren't for college credit because they are just prerequisites for a college math class. Anyhow they weren't accounted for in my gpa. My advisor recommended that I do the appeal and maybe mention that my Associates was a 2.35 and I had started at that university to begin with but transferred to a community college to better prepare myself for the university. I need to write a letter explaining why my academic record does not adequately reflect my potential for success and describe my unique characteristics, talents, abilities and life experiences that might qualify me as an exception. Exactly how would I go about doing this and what are some things they particularly like to hear?

  I am still not clear how you propose to clear the hurdle of not having the required mathematics courses You said "two of my math classes aren't for college credit because they are just prerequisites for a college math class." But since you have already sought advice from your advisor, write the letter, show it to him/her. The advisor would be in a very good position to guide you through.
