What should I go to college for?

What which college would you go to?

  • I have been accepted to both colleges that I applied for and I want to go to college A because I think I would have more fun and I would be living on Camus about 20 minutes from my sister and it's 2 hrs away from home. And leaving home would be scary but I think after a while I would be ok and I would have my sister there if I need anything. And college B is 45 minutes from my house and I would have to drive there about three days a week for classes because there is no dorm and I would be staying at home. If i go to college B I don't think I will have as much fun but it wouldnt be horrible either. but I will also be saving $32 thousand if I go to college B for two years. And my family doesn't have a lot of mOney so I think college B would be the particle.choice. But some people have toldme go to college A because you will have more fun. But at both college I will be getting the same education but just a lot cheaper at the other college. Which would you choose?

  • Answer:

College isn't about having "fun" it's about beginning your career path. If you want to do that then save your money and don't go to college. College is effectively becoming the new high school and if all you want to do is party and do poorly then you'll waste 4 years of your life and wind up with a horrible job for the rest of your adult life. Do the responsible thing: compare the costs and programs. If college B is reputable, cost-efficient, and has an appropriate major for you then it may be the better choice over A.
