My chances of getting into UT Austin/Texas A&M?

Hey. I want to go to either UT Austin or Texas A&M for their petroleum engineering degree. Tell me my chances in your opinion: (and where i can improve) From NJ. Attending a top 5 public high school small school 900 total kids with 210 per grade probably top 30% of class GPA: 3.6 (will increase to a 3.65-3.8 by the end of the year) SAT: 1850 Other info: Lots of honors classes, taking some ap's, play 1 sport and have some clubs (1 of which i started)

Hey. No one compares the quality of high schools, it is BS because most kids do not get to pick where their parents live. Tiny school but you should be fine. Just a heads up though, you are in for a culture shock if you have never lived in Texas before.
