Chances of getting accepted as a transfer student?

• I know I've asked this question before but... I'm currently a freshman student at Mercy College. I plan to apply after this semester and apply for 2013 admissions. I did badly in high school and I've been doing better in college. I'm applying for meteorology/atmospheric science schools so I was wondering my chances of getting accepted as a transfer into the following schools. Credits after semester - 29 College GPA - it's going to be around 3.5-3.6 around there High School GPA - terrible 2.7 ACT - terrible 20 Schools I am applying for transfer: Rutgers New Brunswick SUNY Stony Brook Penn State UMass Lowell advice on getting in? i also plan on getting a bunch of people to read my transfer essay before sending it in.

  Congratulations on doing well in college. Is your GPA cited above weighted or unweighted? In addiiton to the schools listed you should also try some safer schools. For any school that interests you in your favotite search engine enter the name of the school followed by the phrase transfer requirements. Good luck.
