Can I still get into UF (University of Florida, Gators!) with one bad quarter?
-
Hey, I just had a reallyyyy bad quarter in high school, it';s literally the worst quarter I've ever been through in all my school career. I'm getting a B+ in Pre-Calculus, a D+ in Ap Euro, an A in Spanish I Honors, and a B+ Chemistry. Do I still have a chance to get into UF with that really bad quarter I just had? I promise I'm going to end the last semester with all A's. as you can see this semester I took some challenging courses at once.

Answer:
Most unis will ignore a single bad grade, but they will focus on that experience during the interview, so be prepared to discuss it. It sounds like you have a good shot at it, assuming test scores, community service, and all the other intangibles are up to snuff. Good luck!
