Can I change the semester I applied for after being accepted?
-
I applied for the Spring 2009 semester at a college I wanted to go to and got accepted. Can I change it to the Fall 2009 semester instead? I decided to join the Army reserve to help pay for college and I need to go to basic training and individual training during the spring semester. Do most colleges allow this switch or do I have to reapply for the Fall semester?

Answer:
You should call your college. Usually it is a different consideration to let someone in during the fall or during the spring, but your admissions office is the only one that would know. Tell them about your situation, and then talk to them about your options. They already want you to come at some point at least, so they shouldn't be too mean and nasty to you :).
