Is it possible to transfer to a prestigious university?

Is it possible to transfer from a tier 4 university to a top 30 university?

• So far as a transfer I have been accepted into University of Maryland: College Park, University of Georgia and Georgia Tech. I currently attend Armstrong Atlantic State University in Savannah, Georgia. I have a 3.9 GPA in college, 2290 SAT score, and I am a sophomore in college majoring in Biology. I have a lot of good Extra curricular activities and here are the schools I am applying to as a transfer. 1. Cornell. -working on application 2. University of Pennsylvania. -working on application 3. Georgetown. -working on application 4. UNC Chapel Hill. - already sent in application 5. University of Connecticut. - already sent in application 6. University of Virginia. - already sent in application 7. University of Washington. -working on application 8. Ohio State University (Columbus). - already sent in application 9. Penn State University (University Park). - already sent in application

  For the top 10 it maybe difficult because of the rank of your school but once you get below the top 10 it becomes easier. Penn, Cornell and Georgetown are reaches for you but you still have a chance of admission. The others are matches, the bottom three are shoe ins. Either way, you are in good shoes because the three colleges that accepted you are well respected in the country, maybe not UGA but UM and Tech are.
