What is the best medical school in Canada?

What should I do now if I want to go to Medical School, in Canada?

  • So, I'm only in grade 9 now, but what requirements will I need? All my sciences up to the grade 12 level right? Should I be doing community service now? Also, what medical schools are the best in Canada?

  • Answer:

Definitely big in Science. Most will take a science degree as their undergrad, Biology being the most common. You get to study fungus! When I was at the UofO, in Science (Computer Science), I remember the pre-med guys complaining about learning fungus. Anyway, you need fabulous marks. High School, and also University. Like a B minimum, and nothing lower than a C+ to go on to a Masters, and even those marks would be iffy. I have no idea about community service. I do not think that is as important her as it is in the US. I cannot remember it even coming up, and I went to University twice. I do not know what schools are best. There are several around where I live, like the University of Ottawa, and Queens in Eastern Ontario, and McGill in Montreal, all of which are fine. I have never actually heard of a bad medical school here as the standards are pretty much national (set by Health Canada).
