Is it possible to transfer from a 4-year to a 4-year university?

• I wanted to see if it was possible to attend a CSU and transfer to a UC (in California). Is it possible to do that? Or would the best option for me be to attend a community college, then transfer to a UC? I WILL NOT graduate from the CSU, but definitely the UC I'd like to attend, so if my final goal is a UC, what should I do? I really want to go to UC Davis, UCLA, or UC Berkeley. It just cost too much to go right now, would it be possible to transfer from a CSU, then to a UC?

  yes, it is 100%possible. In fact, many people decide that they are not happy with their 4 year and transfer to another 4 year. However, if you KNOW you want to transfer to CU, go to community college. It will be TONS cheaper. Plus, the work you do there puts you in a good position to transfer to a 4 year. It is silly to go to a 4 year knowing you will transfer..unless you don't like the CC atmosphere. 1. Go talk to a counselor at your school. They will help you determine how many of your credits will transfer to the next school you go to. Then go to a counselor at the school you want to transfer to. Tell them your situation. Counselors/ Advisors are the best and first people you should be contacting Working at a Community College I am a fan. It is way cheap and the quality of education is just as high as a 4 year.
