What qualifications would I need to become a paramedic?

I'm 16 years old, and passes my GCSE's with mostly A's, B's and two A*'s. I'm currently studying A-Level maths, physics, chemistry and geology. What qualifications would I need to become a paramedic? Would I need a degree after college? I have no idea! Thanks :)

Entry requirements vary from NHS trust to NHS trust (location) but you have put yourself in an excellent starting position with good GCSE's. Birmingham City University does a 2 year foundation degree specifically tailored for prospective paramedics that you may be interested in looking at too.
