Working conditions and working environment of family physicians?

• Can somebody please tell me what the work enviornment and working conditions are for a family physician or a general practitioner? Thanks!

  Brutal. You have to see a patient every 12 minutes or less, you have to deal with crazy, unreasonable inurance companies, you have to try to find smart staff with some sort of work ethic, you have to worry about HIPPA and other laws out to get you, some of your patients are ungrateful, feel entitled to drugs they have seen in TV ads, and you may aften take home less than $150,000. It will get worse after Hillary gets her hands on health care, then you will be a gov't lackey. Instead consider being a pharmacist, they make as much or almost so, have to spend less money on school and less time training. Or plan to be a specialist or identify areas of medical practice the gov't is least likely to try to control, like plastic surgery.
