How can i stop falling asleep?

How can I stop being lazy/falling asleep on my day off to study?

  • Every Tuesday I have 1 morning class, then I have the entire day day. I made a light schedule on this day with the intention of studying, but every single Tuesday it's the same old song. I get home, look at my bed, and boom. I fall asleep from like 10am to 2pm....then I get lazy and end up not even studying...what can I do!? I tried drinking coffee when I got home...and still fell asleep. I tried studying at school, fell asleep there too!!!!!!

  • Answer:

Try going to bed early on Monday night. Maybe if you get extra sleep you won't be so sleepy when it is time to study. Also I know you said you fall asleep at school, but why not try a place at school that has some noise that should help keep you from dozing off. Try the dining hall. Also eating more protein might help. Scrambled eggs or some type of meat might help (except turkey). You might even want to try an informal restaurant. Sometimes a change of scenery will help your concentration. Finally, why not try setting a nap time for yourself. Maybe you could sleep from 10:00 am to noon and then go back to school and get something to eat while you study if you need additional time go to the library and finish up. All you would have to do is set your alarm and then get up an leave home that way you are getting yourself up and moving. I hope this helps good luck with school! I am sure once you figure this out you will be just fine.
