Will I get admission in Graduate school?

Which direction should I move in? Do I get another Bachelor or attempt gaining admission into Graduate School?

• I currently have a B.A. in Psychology and B.S in Community Psychology and although I am one of the lucky ones that has actually found a job that pays relatively well, it just isn't what I want to do with my life. I realized during the second semester of junior year that I didn't want to be a counselor/therapist and although research is fascinating, a PsyD/PhD is to conduct research is not for me either. What I really want to do is work in Finance, but I have absolutely no experience in that area or educational background. I have considered getting an MBA, but with no education in that, that could be very difficult. So, should I get yet another Bachelor? Should I just take a few courses in Finance to gain some knowledge? Or, should I just take the chance and apply for MBA with emphasis in Finance?

  Most reputable MBA programs would like you to have taken one class in accounting and one class in statistics before you apply. I'd have you add one more - one in finance. You can take them via continuing ed at a local university or community college. Take the classes, and see what you think. If you'd like to proceed, then apply to MBA programs with a concentration in finance. Apply only to AACSB accredited programs - a lot of employers in finance will not hire you if your MBA is not AACSB accredited. It's the MBA *plus the internship* that will let you change careers. So that may mean you get your MBA full time. Again, focus only on reputable business schools, because finance companies are sometimes education "snobs".
