Are text books necessary when studying?

Could i learn everything i need to know to go to college just by studying text books?

  • is the basic math, science, language, literature and history textbooks all i need to get smart for college? i know they will get me a ged but will they also boost my act score?

  • Answer:

You can learn everything in textbooks. The reason why there are classes and teachers, is to force you to read the material at the course pace and to have the information sink in easier. It's harder to do self-independent studies, but if one is discipline enough, then the books are all you need. Good luck with your ACT.
