How hard is it to transfer to Northwestern University?

How hard is it to transfer into NC State University?

• As of this fall I will be a Jr. at Florida A&M University. I am from NC, and I'm still a resident. I am currently majoring In Architecture, and would like to do so at NC State. I'm seriously thinking of transferring back home for Fall 09. I plan on using this year to boost my gpa from a 2.8 to at least a 3.0. What is the minimum GPA req. to get into State if you are a transfer? I read on the school of design page you need a 2.7+ to get into the program, but it does not mention the gpa requirement to get into the university. And I really hate to ask, but will being a male minority will give me a slightly better chance if any?
