Is it possible to make it into a UC school with an F?

UC Davis or UC San Diego-Revelle for biological sciences?

  • I have been accepted to both of these schools. UC Davis for biology major and UC San Diego for biological sciences at Revelle college. I heard Revelle is hard and has a different grading system? idk. Anyways, I was wondering if anyone could give me some input and information so I can make my decision. My aim is to go to medical school and I believe I can get pretty good grades if i try. But I heard UCSD is competitive and Revelle isnt so good. Which school can give me better chances for research and interaction with my professors? And I dont really care about location too much because I have family in both areas and I honestly dont mind living in either areas. Most people say SD is better because of location, but I would like to take that out of the question. Also, which school will be easier? or does either have more competition or is generally harder to get good grades at? Which school will I be able to get better research oppurtunities at? Thanks for the help! Also, does prestige matter A LOT? Because I know san diego is ranked a little bit higher but does that make a huge difference?
