Which college is easier to get into?

Which college is better and which is easier to get into? Northeastern or Boston University?

  • It'd really help hearing from people who currently attend one of those colleges to mention their personal experience there, what they like/ dislike about that college, etc. Also which one is the most selective/ harder to get into?

    In reality they are about the same but BU may appear better to the casual observer because they may get it mixed up with Boston College which is in the same academic league as a Tufts and Holy Cross.

BU and Northeastern have such large class sizes (>4000) that their acceptance rates are much easier to get in than other smaller Boston area colleges like BC, Holy Cross, Tufts. They are really very similar schools. People like the fact that they are hige schools so there are tons of people to meet. It is easy to get lost in the crowd. There isn't a tight college community since they are large inner city colleges.

Almost identical. Only downside is the enormous size of the school and the size of the classes. If you don't mind being treated like a number, you will do fine at these schools.
