What are my chances of getting into Villanova?

My chances of Villanova?

  • I asked this question before. Though I know exactly what my GPA is this year. I didn't do well in school as a freshman, and I got a weighted 2.65 GPA. I only had 1 honors class last yr, Honors English. This year I took two honors classes, I had to drop one of them, and the other Honor Class is English. I ended up with a GPA of 2.86 for this year. I am taking two AP's next yr, AP Environmental Science and AP Physiology. I am not taking any Honors. If I am able to get a 4.2 next year as my weighted GPA by getting all A's, should I be able to get into UCLA or Villanova? What are my chances for each one? I live in Jersey and I really don't want to stay in state.

  • Answer:

I don't think your school will help you. You have slim chances at UCLA, and Villanova would be a reach. Get your GPA to a 3.0 and you may make Villanova. You would need a miracle to get into UCLA, or some connections. If you get a 3.6 unweighted GPA now we are talking about UCLA. I don't want to lie to you, but that's the truth. UCLA is very competitive. Only one honors class is going to take you know where. I can see you going to Villanova, if you take harder classes, and get your GPA up... Good Luck!
