That's the trouble with the world today. No one wants to work hard to get ahead. They just want to do as little as possible and have it all handed to them. You have to work hard and be worth it to earn $150 K a year. Right now, you're not even close. Try going to college and getting a post grad degree, then work real hard for a lot of years, and then you might come close. Bye.

Sure. Finance whiz kid - the sky's the limit. But you need to be gifted and good - and they do have a high burnout rate. If it was easy everyone would do it and you wouldn't earn $150K. Thanks Bill

beyond college? i don't get it... there shouldn't be anything past college. college is the last step in the process before applying for the job.

Definitely. Try investment banking, management consulting, actuarial science to name a few. Banking - your first 2 years will be very long hours, but it will pay off.. Consulting - you won't make a huge salary, but performance based bonuses often are greater than your actually salary at larger firms. Actuary - there is a serious of 10 exams. Once you pass all twn, you'll make ~250k. They are challenging, but the good news is you can even take them while you are in college. Actually passing at least one will help you land your first job with a firm....and then you can continue to study/take the others.... I assume by past college, you mean graduate or professional school - that was pretty clear to me....

I would look into construction. The pay is great but you'd have to find a person that will hire you. Go towards developing cities like Las Vegas. Where the house market always expands. Once you have 5+ years constructing you'll become a supervisor. My brother gets paid 2k per weekend. And that's his part time job. Trying finding one that is 9-5 type of business.
