Should I study abroad in Liverpool?

To Study Law in Liverpool Uni What Subjects Do You Need To Take At A level?

  • To study law in Liverpool university it says i need AAA in the requirements. Do I need to have particular subjects or can they be my choice?

  • Answer:

It is your choice within reason. Law is a competitive degree and therefore there will be a large number of candidates who apply. The website says the following, 'No preference is given to specific subjects studied, but overlap should be avoided. Candidates are advised to take no more than one practical A-Level (e.g. Art, Graphic Design)' Which gives you some guidance. You should take strong A-levels, the strongest A-Levels are, Maths Physics Chemistry Biology English History Geography Politics (not core but it is somewhere in the gap between the strong and the weak) Economics (" ") Essentially all the core subjects. However you do not need to take only core subjects, if you do well in your A-levels then a mix of strong and weak subjects should be fine. For instance if your school offered a Law A-level or if you particularly liked studying business then you could take one of those subjects without harming your chances providing your other subjects are strong. Overall if you achieve AAA and have 2 core subjects I think you should be fine.
