Is it Harder to Get into UCLA or USC?
-
Which school is harder to get into as an undergrad? Btw, does USC look at GPA''s in their unweighted form? Is a 3.75 GPA(unweighted) too "low" to get accepted to USC? Would not a lot of extracurriculars kill my chances of getting into either school? Which one would be harder to get into because of not a lot of extracurriculars?

Answer:
It is very possible to get into USC with a 3.5 unweighted GPA and almost impossible to get into UCLA with a 3.5. Admission to USC with a GPA below 3.5 is relatively difficult and admision with a 2.5 GPA is virtually impossible. A 3.75 UC-GPA is no guarantee at all of admission to UCLA, but an unweighted 3.75 will be very helpful for USC Extracurriculars are more important for USC. Apply to both. Best wishes.

UCLA. USC is known as the University of Spoiled Children for a reason. If you are rich, you can get in. UCLA has a better academic reputation. Try to get in some volunteer work and join a club and become an officer if you can. But as someone else said, apply to both and see what happens. UCLA is less expensive.

I think it is harder to get into UCLA.It's public and lots of qualified students apply. They also favour accepting in state students so if you're out of state your chances are lower. USC is private and I've gotten accepted there with a lower gpa but as a transfer student.I didn't have much extracurricular, but I made my essays interesting. It also depends on the schools you apply to within.

UCLA, of course. USC is private I almost went there USC is only concerned about cash chances are if you or your family dose not have good credit you wont be going there they typically require a 2.5. UCLA very different its public and its very selective3.5 and above depending on the department u apply too.
