How do I become a CPA?
-
I have an MBA but would like to be a CPA. Do I need to go back to school to earn an Accounting degree? I took about 24 hours of accounting during undergrad and grad school. Could I study enough on my own to take CPA exam?

Answer:
Check your state CPA society because states have different requirements for what you have to take to sit for the CPA exam. But an MBA and 24 accounting credits is probably enough or close to enough for most states. What you then want is an CPA review course, which should be easy enough to find (either a face-to-face course or something else, including self-study books).
