How does your community college gpa affect your overall gpa for med school?

I was accepted to the spring semester at UCB so I decided to take community college courses in the fall to save money. Unfortunately I received a B in one of my classes. I was wondering how does this affect my overall gpa when the grades I receive in community college will only show as a credit/ no credit on my Cal transcript.

Unless it is one of your pre med subjects I doubt it will have any impact. If it is then you may get a query about it. However 1 B is not going to really hurt you that much. UCB has an over 80% success rate in admission to medical school anyway. So the odds are stacked in your favor from the start. Thanks Bill
