Chance of getting into ucsd?

Planning a Resume for UCSD need help!!!!?

• -I'm a high school Junior with a GPA of 3.5 -I'm taking AP Lit. and AP Art History in my senior. -I know its a little late, but I also plan on taking the SAT for October -Well I barely have anything to sell myself with considering I haven't had a job, didn't do any volunteer work, or had no extracurricular activity. -Despite my lack of extracurricular activity, I took courses in Conceptual Physics and Engineering as part of an Engineering Academy thing at our school, and I plan on majoring in Bioengineering, a subject that UCSD is well known for. -So despite my lack of an impressive resume, would adding that I was part of an Engineering Academy at my school and plan on majoring in Bioengineering help me gain more favor when I send my resume to UCSD? -What are the requirements (how hard is it) to get into UCSD? -Or do I stand no chance at all in getting accepted into UCSD? -BTW I will add my SAT/ACT scores in my resume once I've taken the test and get my results. Also considering that I'm asian and ucsd already has too many asians, would the whole race quota thing now lower my chances to nothing?

  Bioengineering and related majors are the hardest to get into at UCSD. The average GPA of those accepted at UCSD is a weighted 4.0 and SAT score is about 2000. For BE, it's considerably higher. Mot accepted will have taken math and science APs if available at their high school and have high scores in those subjects. If you can't get in now, and are from CA maybe do two years at a CC and transfer. This is SD's greatest strength. The biotech industry is centered in SD and the internship and job possibilities are fantastic. And no, UCSD and all the UCs do not use race as a factor.
