How many GCSE's do you need to get into university?

Do you need business courses in high school to get into an undergraduate business program in a university?

• my courses are a bit messed up...but im in grade 11 and i have biology, english, math, computer tech, media arts, accounting and gym. i cant change my options to business because all of them are full, but my guidance counseloor told me that in 2nd semester one of the business courses might become open...so i might get marketing or information technolgy. he told me that i dont need business courses to get into a business program for managment at a university, and that i only need english and math....is that true for all universities...do you need to have business courses in grade 11 to get into one...but anyways im gonna take all the business courses in grade 12 so would that be ok...or will i not get admitted ...cause i dont got grade 11 business experience. and i also have mixed math (college/university) right now but in grade 12 im going to academic, does that mean anything?....and what are some good universities in new york city/long island...or canada/ontario near toronto or something...thanks in advance..

  Can't speak for New York but, in Ontario, Business programs do not require you to take actual Business (Accounting, etc) courses in high school. You usually just need a 4U Math and ENG4U0.
