  • i wanna become a pharmacist when i grow up and i am currently a freshmen. I wanted to know what courses would i need to take in highschool to make it look better when i apply at UIC (University of illinois at chicago) im very confident that ill get into a pharmacy school, but my worry is that if its really as hard as people say? my uncle is a pharmacist and he said that he struggled alot to become a pharmacist.? i can handle pressure , and i understand that pharmacy is no easy profession, but i dont want to go through what my uncle did. i am an above average student and my GPA is around 3.2-3.6

  • Answer:

Average GPA of accepted pharmacy students, nationally is about 3.4-3.5. The overall acceptance rate is less than 30%. You'll need a PCAT score above 75. The class is hard but not impossible to do.
