Is it hard to find a job as a LVN?

I need some details about Los Angeles Job Corps please?

  • I am a 20 year old Female living on my own, working a dead-end job and I need to find a career. I am really interested in the LVN Vocational Nursing program at Los Angeles Job Corps, but I need some info from people who have experienced the place. What will be the stipend amount if I choose not to live on campus? Would I be able to still work my other job on the weekends? How early do classes start? If I already have my high school diploma, approximately how long will the program take to complete? Do they provide parking? If I do decide to reside on campus, how long before I can be moved to the Hollywood location if I perform well? And any other miscellaneous information would be great. All answers are appreciated, but i'd prefer if you try to hit all my questions. Thank you , hope to get some answers soon! =)

  • Answer:

I think most of that info in on their website. I am not a job corps alum but I worked with some kids and helped them through the application process. Only 1 actually was accepted so it's pretty competitive.
