How will I get into college?

How likely will it be for me to get into college?

• I have struggled with psychological problems my whole life, I'm not going to get into it but I missed a lot of school, and went to hospitals and therapy etc. I have finally started living my life again, but I lost too much credit in my high school to graduate high school next year like I was suppose to (I'm 17) and my grades were never that good. The thing is I actually am Intelligent, and I always score really high on tests and essays etc, and I catch on really easily, I just didn't have a lot of the work done. So I have to repeat my junior year. so if I do really good on my SATs, get all my credits back, and do really well in my classes, what are the chances of me getting into an away college? (I don't want to go to community, or a state school.) My counselor said, due to my condition, I do have a chance but it really depends on the college. What do you think my chances are getting into a good college?

  I don't think it's too likely at a private university but you have a good chance at a public one.
