How do you get good grades in college?

In college it is where you find your PASSION, without it, school becomes middle/high school where you just don't really care, sense people 'pay' for college most likely they will want to succeed in it. So, you will just need to study during the day party at night it is what i want to do :)

you just need to find a way that works for you to study. make it into a dance, sing a song, etc.

Stay organized. That, in my opinion, is the most common difference between the A students and everyone else. Being organized includes knowing the dates and deadlines you have, keeping your work neat and organized, and being able to prepare in time for whatever is coming up. Whether it be completing an assignment, or studying for an exam, if you give yourself enough time to get it done, you will be much more likely to succeed. About studying, it's different for everyone. You need to find a way to study that works for you. Whether it be recording lectures and listening to them later, taking extensive notes, flash cards, practices tests, etc. There are many ways to learn your material. Also, if it really is a difficult subject to you, ask for a tutor. Most colleges have a tutoring center where help is offered. If the ADHD (ADD is an obsolete term) really is a problem, see a doctor to see what treatment is right for you.

in college, if you want good grades, the number one bit of advice that i can give you is GO TO CLASS. don't skip class. if you're sick and you feel like youre dying, go to class. get your ADD diagnosed and take adderall for it and you'll be able to study. go to all offered review sessions before tests, take initiative and go for any tutors who are offered, talk to your professors and make sure they know your name. go visit them during their office hours and ask questions. do your homework, even when its not graded, and make study groups with your friends in case you dont understand something and one of them does. good luck =] college is so much fun. don't stress too much about your grades. *edit* some idiot trying to sound smart told you he/she doesnt study. wtf. they're gonna have a tough time in college because i didn't study in high school either and i totally bombed my first semester. also, IB classes are worthless. and i hate conceited idiots.

You can do anything you put your mind to accomplish. Just do your best and seek help whenever you need it. College is never easy but as long as you don't give up and always score for the highest you can do it. All thoughout highschool I was just satisfied with passing so a D was acceptable but once I got serious in college I strived for no less than a B and well cause I sought help when I needed it and never gave up it happened. Of course I got a couple C's but that just forced me to push harder. Go for it full force it will never be easy but all of it will be worth it in the end.

Don't try to study for hours at a time. Do it in either 30 minute intervals or 1 hour intervals. Then go do some for an hour or two. The go study some more. Good luck.
