My university choices?

  • below are the choices that i made for university, i have untill tuesday to change them, im studying business with law llb. i cant choose non of the top ten cuz they dont do the course. i like the university of nottingham but i have to sit an LNAT test which is really hard so i didnt choses that one. pls tell me what u think of my choices, which ones will u change and which ones will u add. if u wont change them what order will u put them in. the unis that i can choose are: university of portsmouth university of coventry kingston university nottingham trent university university of hull the universities i can choose are: The University of Bolton University of Brighton University of Central Lancashire University of Chester University of East London The University of Edinburgh University of Glamorgan University of Greenwich University of Hertfordshire The University of Huddersfield Univerity of Lincoln more 2 come

    My son has just started at Hull and is having the time of his life (literally!!), and as a parent I'm really pleased with the uni support. He has 2 mates doing politics and law - one loves it the other doesnt. It is a very personal choice - we visited several unis before his choice was made. Hull comes out very well from students, it has a great student union - the Times do a very detailed report on different aspects of each Uni - strengths and weaknesses (not just academic). You might be able to find a copy at your college / 6th form library Try and visit - Good Luck for the future

you can apply to more than one university i be warned just because they have a good rep doesn't mean they would suit you! try to visit as many as possible first!

edinburgh is the best uni from list follow by warwick but how can anyone possibly know which is best FOR YOU???

you have some very good choices there currently i am at nottingham uni right now doing law, which is one of the last places i thought i would be at being in a similiar position to you with the lnat test i was also worried i would not get good results in the test bt hey with preparation i got in. you have nothing to lose by doing it and when i did it my college reimbursed me the fee that i paid for the test . i went to the library to get some books and you will be surprised because they have books availible that specialise in helping you pass the lnat with good marks. also try searching the internet for the books, i got one on there and i ordered it from waterstones

I don't know if this will help, but I qualified with an Llb Law Degree and Diploma in Legal Practice at Strathclyde University in Glasgow, and it was excellent. They have a Business School as well, so you might be able to do the combined qualification. And if you like music, Glasgow is fantastic for gigs. It also has lots of theatres, cinemas, restaurants, parks, night clubs, football clubs, art galleries, and museums. Good luck!

what about leeds university!,if not there pompie, sailors term for portsmouth, quite a good budding footie team, at present, youll see all the naval ships, museums etc, interesting town.
