How long does it take to become a doctor in the UK?

  • All answers would be greatly appreciated however I'd prefer specific answers: - By what age would you become a doctor - The requirements - Qualifications - What universities are best fitting to pursue this career-path Thanks =D

  • Answer:

it takes 5 years if you take the normal course, 6 years if you take the foundation course. you'll be about 23 if your 18. erm most reqirements are AAB with an A in chemistry. but this can vary, depending on different students. Previous Qualifications are 6A's at GCSE. Any university which has a medical degree on its course guide can lead you to become a doctor. big city universitys like liverpool and manchester, leicester etc... can also get job placements too :)
