When is the best time to apply to CUNY?

Anyone having some issues w/ their CUNY application?

• I filed my application for 6 cuny schools on October 22nd 2008; I haven't heard from any of the schools yet and I know the process takes time but people who've applied after me have already gotten responses. Another thing that has me kinda confused is that when i check my application status online it reads as follows... [You must fulfill the following requirements in order to continue processing your application: If you wish to be considered for the SEEK and/or College Discovery programs, please visit CUNY to complete the necessary paperwork. Your application is complete.] So I called them up and the lady told me that they had all of my info and that i should be hearing soon... mind you this was about a month ago. Today i stopped by the college office and he said that my application was complete and that everything should be fine but that he's going to call just to make sure. Ergh. Anyone else having this problem? Any info about this? Well yea thanks.

  i have the SAME problem.. all of my friends are getting acceptance letters left and right and i'm getting a bit scared. the link that the site provided doesn't even work for me.. so i'm very confused as well. i wish you the best of luck. EDIT: i tried calling 2 days in a row.. and i can't seem to speak with a representative.. i spoke to my counselor but he insists that i'm just not being patient and that i will get them in march. however, my friend who applied after me has already gotten 2 acceptance letters from schools that i have also applied to. ugh.
