What are the requirements for atmospheric science at UBC?

Are my grades good enough to be accepted at UBC?

  • Hi, so I was looking at my grade 11 grades (science courses) and I saw that they weren't exactly as high as I could have gotten. I checked the requirements at the UBC website and I'm okay with most of my grades, but in grade 11 sciences I didn't do as good as I could have.. My grades: Bio 91% Physics 88% Chemistry 89% I did get A's but are these high enough to have a good chance of getting into UBC? I really really really need to get into UBC and if that means repeating these grades then I guess I will. So, my question to you is that are these grades good or should I redo one of these classes?

  • Answer:

Hi Simba, I work with students applying to UBC, so I'm happy to answer your questions about admission. When we are evaluating your application, our decisions are mainly based on your grade 12 marks. High marks in grade 11 can help, but they won't hurt as long as you have completed the minimum requirements. The grades you have right now will definitely not be a problem for admission.
