How hard is it to get into columbia(college)?

  Their acceptance rate is 83% (this means pretty much anyone is in...You can compare this to the 8% acceptance rate of Harvard or the 11% acceptance rate of MIT) To graduate in the top 10% of your class, you will need to be in the first 10 people if your class has 100 people and in the first 40 people if your class has 400 people (you get my point, right?) You will have to work relatively hard... (or if you're like me, you can bs through everything and still manage to graduate top 15%...) In my school, most of the people who graduated on the top 10% of their class had at least 4 AP classes and at least a 3.8 (unweighted) GPA.
