Will I get accepted into the University of Vermont?

What should I do if I don't get accepted into University?

  • I got a letter telling me I have not been accepted into 1 out of the 2 Universities I applied to. I was horribly upset. What shoul I do if I don't get accepted into the other one? My school's guidence said that people who come back for another year don't do much better. The only reason why I didn't get accepted is probabily because of the 2 out o 7 courses I didn't do well in. So what should i do?

  • Answer:

You go to a community college and then transfer to a 4 year university. There is no shame in doing that. Just do well in community college and you will have a great chance of transfering to the school you want.

What I did was go to Community College for a year and then transferring in was easy. You have to keep your grades UP!! Adminstrators look then at how you are doing at college, and your high school history takes a back seat. Heck, they didn't even have high school transcripts for me.

go to community college for a year, if you do well the universities will be impressed and you can transfer in after a year or two.

Go to a Community College for a year or two, and establish a good college GPA. Then, after a year, apply to transfer to a university. If you don't get in again, finish off the second year, and get your Associates degree, and then transfer.

The smartest advise I ever got, go to community college for your first two years of required courses. They are cheaper, easier and then you transfer into the college of your choice for the last two years of your major, and your degree will be from the University you ended with!

Then go to a community college or a junior college for a year. Then reapply. Then you will already have some credits under your belt, and a university will take a look at that. Just make certain you post good grades. What kept you out of the university was the two courses, so they see you as a risk. You need to prove them wrong. Don't give up on your dream. In life, we often don't get Plan A. So, we go to Plan B... and even Plan C.

you don't have much of a choice. if you don't get the school you want then you have to go to another school. i would NOT wait a year for the school i wanted. you could be sidetracked and never go back

u can either check out fa some other schools n apply to them or u can go to a junior college (community college), get ya grades up, then re-apply
