What are my chances of getting into the University of Michigan?

What are my chances of getting into University of Michigan- Ann Arbor?

• Junior- 2nd sem Right now I have a 3.7 GPA, but im aiming for a 4.1 this last sem, to bring that up. My ACT score is a 27... retaking it in June, maybe again in sept.(should I take it a 3rd time?) 115 hours of community service pretty good/hard senior schedule( 3 honors and 2 AP's) trying to get a summer job and get into a summer nursing program at u of m part of diversity council and key club... going to be PR of diversity council next year ( kind of like the president, but the power is split among 3 people) PR's hold annual "Celebration of Diversity".... so I'll be hosting the show with 2 other people applying to be a link leader im asian---does that help in anyway? also doing early admission to increase my chances .... do i need any sports? is it neccessary? what are my weaknesses? What can I do to improve them?

  sports are never a necessity. As long as you are involved in something. You are already going into you senior year. Colleges only look at your transcripts from freshman to end of your junior year for their decision . Once made it will be on contingency of your senior transcripts. They will ask for your senior schedule on your application. Colleges only take your unweighted GPA. Right now I would concentrate on bring up that ACT score. You need to study how to take the ACT, not just studying the subjects on the exam. Check out your public library. Ours had a great ACT study program at a very low price. Getting that score up to a 29 will make a big difference
