I know i have to retake my maths and english. What should i do after this? What a levels Should i study? please help me with this query. BTW im 20 years old. thank you

  • Answer:

Ok..you only have 6 GCSEs. The average applicant has done more GCSE and scored better.. Especially at LSE - the average applicant is all As and A*s. I'm really sorry but I don't think you have a good chance at LSE or UCL. Perhaps KCL if you do really well in your a levels, but Law is REALLY tough to get into and those are all some of the top UK institutions. I know someone who had 4 As at A level and straight as/a*s and got rejected by UCL and LSE. Do four AS levels, not 3. You could drop one at A level. And sociology is considered a soft subject by the top universities..so i wouldn't go with that.

<i> Heyaaaa! Well first of all well done for deciding to retake your maths and english brilliant move. Attempt to get a B in both if you can. Then you need to take some ALevels at least 3-4, such as English Lang/Lit, Law and maybe sociology as to get in to uni you need alevels. You can do these at college or even through distance learning :) Then look into the law you want to do eg/ criminal law. Good luck xxx
