What kind of job can you get with a bachelor's degree in science?

  • I'm starting college and went ahead and made my area premedical science/dentistry. My mom was concerned with me not being able to get any kind of job with a bachelor's degree, and therefore said it was useless (and a waste of time), but that's not how I feel. So...are there any jobs you can get with a bachelor's in science? I'm planning on eventually going to med school, but I won't be able to afford it if I don't get a job.

    Premed isn't a major. It's a series of introductory classes. Some science and science-related degrees pay well with good job prospects (engineering, computer science, physics, geology) and others aren't bad (chemistry, biology).
