Has anyone experience with attending an online college?

    I took a few classes via Onlinelearning.net to clear my teaching credential. It was the best/easiest thing I could've done. I was working full time, finishing up my Masters Degree, and trying to keep up with everyday life. Taking classes online allowed me the opportunity to work when it was convenient for me, which was mostly late at night. I also didn't have to waste time driving to and from class in traffic. Participation with others in the classes took place on discussion boards. A certain amount of participation was required (i.e. post 5 messages on the message board in one week). Assignments had to be e-mailed to the profs. Aside from that, not much was required. Overall, it was a great experience.

I'm currently attending online courses with the University of Phoenix, due to the fact that I have no time for school outside of work. So far my experience has been a good one. I like being able to work on assignments on my own time. It's just more accomodating to full-time working adults than "traditional" colleges. I can't say for sure if I'll keep attending in the future, or transfer to a local college in my state, but right now it works for me.

I go to American Public University, very nice and reasonable prices ($750 a class, books are basically free if you send them back). They have a wide range of Associate, Bachelor, and Master degrees to choose from. Take a good look at them, it fits very nice into my schedule.

Got my Bachlors on line. Midwestren College. Still respected as a a college degree. I would hate to spend the time commuting and gas. You must be self motivated. And now with chat and teachers chat It's Awsome Many online classes have come a great way. Gotta have DSl to fly thru but you can make it work with dial up.
