Is it possible to become a neonatal nurse as well as a pediatric nurse?

What are the steps in taking to become a Pediatric Nurse?

I will be graduating in May and have yet decided how to go about doing this. I am going to go to a community college to get a bachelor's degree then i am going to try to get accepted into a university to become a Pediatric Nurse. And what kind of Bachelor's degree should i get? What kind of Nurse can i qualify and try to become first? I need a job while in school so i want to get some sort of degree in the medical field while trying to become a pediatric nurse. Thanks :)

You could check with your local hospitals but my mom's friends daughter April is working at a children's hospital right now as a NICU nurse and she doesn't even have full college training. She is working there as a nurse and getting her degree. I suggest you try that because you get education *and* hands on experience.
