What are my chances of getting into Harvard?

  • I do really good (top 10% in all my classes, topping two out of four of them) at school, and I've got a pretty good chance of getting into University of Toronto, really good school (It's the 12th best in the world); so what are my chances of getting into Harvard or any of the American Ivy League Schools?

    I think you may have a chance. It also depends on the level of difficulty of the classes you are taking. One guy who was in my school last year is got into Harvard and I know he took AP classes, was in the school orchestra, captain of boys tennis, on the swim team, math league, etc. If you take classes of high difficulty levels and take part in extracurricular activities you would have a chance. A lot of the Ivy League colleges also look for something unique that sets you apart from everyone else since all the other people applying there are usually great students, taking all AP classes, have close to 2400 on their SATs and are in a lot of extracurricular activities. The best way to know for sure is to talk to your guidance counselor at school. Good Luck

Score high on any entry exam and have solid extracurriculars and you should have a chance at getting in. A lot of money would help to.
