Are there engineering jobs in germany?

Most Engineering Graduates get IT Jobs. Does this not deprive Engineering Industries talented Core Engineers?

I do not understand why IT companies take the top Engineering graduates from top Engineering Colleges in Tamilnadu. Knowing fully well that knowledge of engineering is of no use in these IT jobs even good students do not study well. The University anyway gives them very high marks as they are already employed in their 6th semester itself. That Engineering education is dying.is getting visible.

I don't agree with you! Me myself a n engineering student from kerala!! Actually students here prefer to get into their own engineering fields after completing the course! however the problem is that very few tech companies visit colleges for campus interview!! even if they visit they prefer to take the top two or three students only!! And they completely shun the girl students!! If the industry is running short of engineers they must increase the no. of students being allotted and try to generate more employment opportunities!! And students who are badly interested to stay in their brach try for M-tech!! Thats wat is happening here!!
