How do I study law in the USA?

What are the best places in UK or USA to study Law?

  • Answer:

Well of course rating schools is somewhat arbitrary. I don't know about schools in the UK, but there are a couple of sources of information on ratings of US law schools. Best in many US ratings combines ratings of reputation (which changes slowly), alumni support, the amount of money in the endowment, etc. Remember that part of the success for any individual in school is how well they "fit" with the culture, expectations, setting and values of the law school. So, just looking at ratings is not enough to choose a law school (or any school, for that matter). Check out the US News and World Report Top 100 law schools: http://www.usnews.com/usnews/edu/grad/rankings/law/brief/lawrank_brief.php Getting into US law schools: www.campusaccess.com/campus_web/educ/e... Jurist Links to US Law Schools: http://jurist.law.pitt.edu/lawschools/ The Canadian's Guide to US Law Schools and the Practice of Law: http://www.geocities.com/superius4317/ There is lots of information to look at on these links. Good luck! Hope this is helpful!
