What are you supposed to write in a college application essay?

After i write my college application essay, whom should i ask to read it ?

  • So that it won't be biased and they could give me an honest feedback. A lot of ppl say that i could ask my english teachers. But are they always the best ones to choose since they know me personally ? Is it better to ask someone who knows u personally ( other than family) or someone that sorta knows u, just so that they could have the impression what a college essay reader would have based on the fact they are gonna only know me thru that essay ? I am not sure ! Whom i should ask ? How many ppl should i ask to make sure i am writing a good one ?

    English teacher is the right answer. If you're concerned about someone not knowing you, ask your friend's English teacher instead. The important thing is that someone who reads it needs to be aware of language rules and good grammar, in addition to composition style. That's why an English teacher is good. One person should be enough. Don't go crazy on this.

Ask one of your friend or your english teacher who you think will give you an honest reply.. Or write your essay and read it yourself after 2 days. Hope it helps
