Answer:
1. The first thing you should do is establish some sort of relationship with your professor. Introduce yourself at the first or second class either before or after the lecture/lab. Most Professors appreciate effort as well the right answer. There were a few times when I had unexpected crisis' in my personal life and because I had established a relationship, my professor(s) was lenient and allowed for late work. 2. Stay organized. Buy a planner and record your classtimes. Then record important due dates from the syllabus. Once or twice a week and as needed add into your planner study days and assignment due dates. Keep each class' paperwork in separate label folders and inside a binder so you don't have to go searching for information-- it's all in one place. 3. Read the test once through without taking notes. Then skim it a second time making notes as you go. 4. Do the work. Again effort is many times taken into consideration. I have discussed submitting rough drafts(for writing intensive courses) with my professors in the past and they were very receptive to the idea and even said that they grade easier if they can "see" your progress. But you must also DO THE WORK and do your best to NEVER turn in late work without prior approval. 5. Try to not miss classes. Professor's don't like for their students to miss their class because they will have to repeat certain information that was communicated (about an upcoming test or paper) when you return and ask. If you have to miss, ALWAYS notify your professor before the class. 6. Sometimes, you have to learn what the professor wants to teach you and give him/her that. Not all of them care about their students personal opinion about the war in Iraq, etc. Sometimes, you have to play by their rules so you can work by yours. 7. Try to take classes that not only accomodate general education requirements, but deal with a subject matter you are interested in. I think thats it. LOL

1. Watch no television shows. 2. Do your homework as though it was your favorite hobby. 3. Become information literate 4. Sit in the Front, get to know those students a little better 5. Get a Creative Zen Mp3 player that can record sound. I had one that recorded 10 hours of sound, bring it to class and hit record, upload the recording to your computer and reference it while doing homework. 6. Avoid watching commercials 7. Make a friend in your major with the same goal. Take as many common classes as possible. 8. Re-listen to your class room mp3's like you would a favorite cd (from suggestion #5) 9. Read long books in your spare time 10, Don't associate with social organizations (I.E. fraternal or sorority organizations) 11. Try to drink coffee instead of beer

You over-learn the subject. Like you're trying to become an expert on it. Quizzes and tests will be a breeze because you already know it all. Example: your English Prof assigns a story or a book to read. You don't merely read it- you go to the library and read criticism. You read the Cliff Notes (you'll know from discussions which of your peers only read those). Math or chemistry? You go to the Student Center and get a tutor. Some of these tutors have already had your class and can fill you in on the tests. Also, use your head. If a professor has a book list of a hundred books, don't think you're going to be a genius after taking his class. Those guys typically change the reading list during the year and tell you how you should have these things in your personal library anyway Yeesh. And if you get a professor that's some self-indulged bonehead, and there are many in the system, do yourself a favor and just drop his class. Don't martyr yourself. Some Profs focus on the pretty girls in the class, like they never grew up, and barely know the males. This can work for you if you're a pretty girl, not if you're trying to use your brain. Good luck, study hard, get out and make some cash.

1. Study extremely hard. No goofing off. 2. Get your homework/assignments done early, so you have more time to do other ones 3. If you find you are struggling or don't understand something look it up 4. If number 3 still doesn't work, ask a teacher. Don't feel dumb or anything if you have to ask for help. Because would you rather, have the teacher explain it to you, or get a bad grade because you never bothered or didn't want to ask for help. 5. If there ever is an extra credit opportunity, do it if you have the time. In order to get A+'s you seriously need to do a whole lot of extra credit. Best of luck! =]

Follow directions, do not procrastinate and most of all challenge yourself.

The most important thing is you have to learn the RIGHT METHOD of studying. There is a certain way to save time and get more comprehension. You can't spend the whole night reading slowly.
