What are my chances of getting into Georgetown University as a Transfer Student?

• I am really worried about not being accepted as a transfer student to Georgetown University. I have decided to transfer because I chose to to attend a criminal justice focused University in Tiffin, Ohio. I came to Tiffin University focused more on playing baseball then on what I really want to do with my career. I have officially decided that I want to become an orthopedic surgeon. My current school doesn't offer all the classes that I need to take in order to qualify for medical school. A few doctors advised with me about my decision to transfer and they agreed. Can somebody please tell me the odds of getting into Georgetown as a transfer student? -3.7 College GPA/ Major: Currently Undecided -Student Government -World Student Association (School Cultural Organization) - The National Society of Collegiate Scholars -NCAA Division II Baseball Player -Volunteer at The George Washington University Hospital in Washington D.C. I also have a deans recommendation letter followed by 3 professor letters.

  You probably will apply to transfer into a biology or bio-chem program. Your admission is based on the number of places available in that program and the strength of the others also applying for those spaces. You look like a strong candidate. BTW, it would not hurt at all if your baseball coach called the baseball coach at G-town and discussed you being a Hoya.
